The sweetness in this time can make my heart ache and tears spring forth. Things I love:
- toddler jokes (knock knock, who's there, MOOSE)
- hysterical laughter
- 30 minutes of silence during nap time
- I see the moon, it's half a moon, the wind blew away the other half
- bouncing, hopping, springy running
- brothers who kiss and hug and tackle each other
- 2 kids in the tub
- by 10 pm, the toys scattered around the house look like the remnants of a day well-lived
- helping hands when I unload the dishwasher
- 2 boys who insist on hugs and kisses when dad goes to work
- 2 boys who eat a whole container of raspberries or strawberries in 2 minutes
- toddlers riding tricycles
- toddlers learning and practicing new words
- the cutest pronunciations ever (crockadoddle, zebrella, bud-da-die)
- Micah thinks "balance" is "bounce", and he's been known to lose his bounce
- Mom, I wuv you sooo much!
- face-splitting grins, stretching ear to ear
These me smile too , happy & joyful thoughts in the midst of tired, sick bodies
